Just a random shot from Friday of our guy. Ain’t he adorable!

Our boy is seven weeks old today. It’s very true what they say about time flying and all that.

As you’ve read, Grandma L. came to visit for a few days last week, arriving on Labor Day and leaving on Saturday. She’s been to New York many times before, and felt no need or desire to do anything touristy at all. All she wanted to do was hang out with, and spoil, Nyan. And did she ever! The young man spent pretty much all day every day in her arms, napping or just cuddling, or otherwise getting plenty of attention. Read the rest of this entry »

Nyan likes to sleep with both arms raised above his head. In this candid shot from naptime the other day, we see where he gets it from. (Or does mommy get it from him?)

Grandma L’s been here all week and she and Nyan have quickly fallen into a routine: she spoils him with love and attention and cuddles all day long, he soaks it all up. Symbiosis.

Here, three pictures showing what mornings are like ’round these parts: as Daddy gets ready for work and Mommy sleeps in (after multiple overnight feedings), Nyan and Grandma relax.

Grandma L. is visiting New York this week, giving Nyan plenty of love and attention (not to mention helping out mommy and daddy!)

Nyan Thomas is learning to feed himself! Mommy reports: “I propped the bottle on his hands and he’s taken the initiative and just controlling his sucking etc. by himself…”

We’re looking forward to having him bring us breakfast in bed any day now. About time the kid started pulling his own weight, frankly…
