It’s the waning days of summer here in London – the sun is coming up noticeably later, and setting noticeably earlier. The mornings are chilly. It won’t be long until we’re all vitamin D-deprived and despondent over the never-ending winter. But we here at Nyan Thomas World Headquarters like to live for today, so we’re just enjoying the last of what has been a brilliant summer.
To that end, here’s a whole slew of videos from a recent sunny Sunday afternoon as Nyan and Daddy hung out in the green space around the corner from our house — it’s less a ‘park’ and more just a grassy field with lots of old trees in it — and looked at a nearby pet store. Six videos in all, about a minute or so each, well worth the viewing.

Then we hit up a nearby pet store. It’s an odd place, run by an old man who didn’t say a word as he slowly pushed a broom around; the front is all random bits of hardware (nails, tape, and the like) while the back has cages of rabbits, guinea pigs and birds, and some tanks with a few goldfish. Here’s a couple views of the young man checking out the goods:
