Today’s Videos: Music at Dinnertime

23 Dec

We try to make music an important part of Nyan’s life. For instance, during dinnertime on weeknights, we’ll usually have a radio nearby, playing classical music. He seems to enjoy it immensely. Here at Grandma and Grandpa’s, we decided on something similar the other day: Daddy brought out his iPad and played a few music videos at the end of the meal. Here’s a few of our efforts.

First up, we have the Muppets version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Does Nyan enjoy it? He was dancing during certain parts, at least:

Here’s Nyan checking out the theme song to an old Japanese animated show called Ulysses. Daddy wasn’t familiar with this one, but Mommy loved it:

And finally – this one isn’t music, but fun nonetheless: it’s Nyan watching a classic Muppet Show skit in which a couple of aliens land at a farmhouse and try to figure out what a telephone is. Hilarity ensues, etc.:

I think he is a bit more of a rocker than classical guy!!! Loved it, what a GREAT tune for the muppets to do. Loved it when he points to mama when they are saying mama. These kids are really smart. See that you have busted out the high chair to many generations of Hackney kids. Boy they sure don’t make them like that any more!! I wonder how many crumbs have been on that tray??? Enjoy!!!! Be well…..
