Nyan Thomas Goes Shopping
Our boy getting into the holiday spirit: a few weeks back, Mommy was going shopping on the High Street and asked Nyan if he wanted to come along. Why yes, yes he did. And of course he insisted on carrying the shopping bag. Because he’s a big boy.
Of course he got distracted by varions streetscape sounds on the walk, as he does.

The Imagination of Nyan Thomas
Take one toy van, and one piece of broccoli. Put the broccoli on top of the van and voila! You’ve got yourself a fire engine.
He wouldn’t eat the broccoli (which he had said was a lollipop, before he decided it would work fine as a fire truck siren) but at least it wasn’t a total waste…
Nyan Thomas in Autumn
A couple weeks back, when Grandma was here, she and Nyan had a blast on the walk home from school, playing with the leaves.
They also checked out the remains of a huge old tree that was toppled in the big windstorm we had at the end of October.
Saturday Morning Yoga
Our boy likes to do yoga with Mommy. Except for when he gets distracted and wants to play-eat the corn or noodles he finds on the floor.
At the Library
We’ve posted one picture from this collection a while back, but here’s the full story of Nyan Thomas at the library. He wanted to stop in there one night on his way home from school, and who are we to refuse him a trip to the library?

He also played with the library’s giant stuffed animals. The pile you see here is because, as Nyan put it, “They sleeping.” So he decided to join them.
And here he is hanging out with his pal Winnie the Pooh. Who promptly falls down.
Nyan Thomas in November
Check out this smorgasbord of random shots from the month of November. Nothing much to say about these pictures, which pretty much speak for themselves. (Except for that one, where he’s wearing something funny on his head (not even sure what it was) and opening all the drawers on the dresser. That’s just how Nyan Thomas rolls.

Fire truck!
The other day, the school down the road had a Christmas fair, and they had a fire truck stop by for all the kids to check out. So of course we checked it out.

Fun with Grandma!
Grandma came to visit a couple weeks back. Did Nyan enjoy himself? Did Grandma? Were Mommy and Daddy thrilled to have her visit? Yes, yes and yes.

Grandma brought a couple of presents, including this tractor-and-wagon that Grandpa helped pick out. The boy certainly loves tractors!
Grandma took Nyan on plenty of walks and plenty of trips to the playground, of course.
Most though, it was just relax around the house, read books, cuddle and play. Nothing wrong with any of that!
Nyan and his Friends
Our little guy has made some good friends with several of his classmates from nursery (day care). Here he is with a few of them.
James (or Jamesy, as Nyan calls him) is one of his best buddies. Here they are, just a couple of old chums, hanging out on a park bench.
